Volvo 740 & 940 Door Speakers Cover Repair Kit

Fix all the broken clips on your Volvo 740 or 940's four door speaker covers with our easy-to-use repair kit, with the optional enhancement to include replacement speaker protection mesh and CLD squares (fronts only).

Repair Clip Instructions

Obtain ABS cement for bonding the clips to the OEM covers.

1. Front door covers: cut off any remaining top face of the original clip. Test fitment with the replacement clip--it should sit flush. See photo for example.
2. Rear door covers: remove remaining material as designated in the photos.
3. Once the replacement clips are all test fitted, apply a liberal amount of ABS cement to the interfacing parts of the repair clips and the OEM covers. Hold in place for 1 minute, then allow to dry for >2 hours before test fitment.

3D Print Settings Recommendations

• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Layer height: 0.22 mm
• Material: ASA. This material will chemically bond to the speaker cover using ABS cement.
• Bed & nozzle temps: high end of vendor recommendations
• Chamber temp: elevated temps always advised (>50C).
